In 2001, the U.S. Mint issued a unique Buffalo Silver Dollar to honor the classic Buffalo nickel. The silver dollar is nearly identical to the 1913-1938 Buffalo nickel, except the modern version is much larger and minted in .900 silver. In this 2-coin set, we offer you two superb versions of that commemorative coin along with 2 rolls of the brand new 2005 Buffalo nickel. The set includes one PR69 dollar set in deep cameo, created by the contrast of a finely detailed frosted foreground against a shimmering background, and one Brilliant Uncirculated MS69 dollar. Together they represent the highest graded matched set offered for these coins. There are 82-coins in total.
Two different mints are also represented here. The proof version comes from the Philadelphia mint, while the MS69 coin hails from Denver. Both coins are encapsulated in clear acrylic to preserve their beauty and condition and placed in a black velvet display case. Also included are two hard case rolls containing brand new 2005 uncirculated Buffalo nickels - one from Philadelphia and one is from Denver.
