• One Sacagawea Golden Dollar and two Native American Golden Dollars struck in .770 copper, .120 zinc, .070 manganese, and .040 nickel.

• First-year-of-issue 2000 Sacagawea Dollar, and one-time-only 2009 and 2010 Native American Dollars.

• The three coins represent the three “first year” coins in the Sacagawea and Native American series.

• All coins are in Brilliant Uncirculated condition and are protectively displayed in a custom coin wallet.  No specific mint marks are promised.

• The Sacagawea Golden Dollar was issued from 2000-2008.

• It was the first circulating coin to feature an identifiable Native American.

• The obverse depicts Sacagawea, the Native American guide who accompanied the Lewis and Clark Expedition in 1804-1806 on their quest to find a route to the Pacific Ocean. The reverse shows an eagle in flight.

• In 2009, the U.S. Mint introduced the Native American Dollars series.  Each year, a new reverse design honors the contributions made by Indian tribes and individual Native Americans to U.S. history and culture.

• The obverse of the Native American coins retains the original portrait of Sacagawea.

• The 2009 coin reverse is a one-time-only design featuring a Native American woman planting corn, beans and squash seeds.  This traditional Native American planting method is known as “three sisters.”

• The 2010 coin reverse is a one-time-only design showing the Hiawatha Belt, a symbol of peace.  It honors the Haudenosaunee Confederation, also known as the Iroquois Confederacy, that dates to the 1400’s.

• First-year coins like the 2000 Sacagawea Golden Dollar are always sought after by collectors, as are one-time-only coin designs like the 2009 and 2010 Native American Golden Dollars.

• This is a rare opportunity to own all three coins in a single collection.
