• Here’s a keepsake for a historic moment in Presidential history.
• The First Presidential Dollar bearing the likeness of the Barack Obama, 44th President of the United States.
• The Presidential Dollars series celebrates each non-living U.S. President on a unique golden Dollar coin.
• The Presidential Dollars are issued at the rate of four per year and in the order in which the Presidents served.
• This First 2007 Presidential Washington Dollar is no longer being struck by the United States Mint, making it even rarer.
• On Feb. 10, 2007, Barack Obama announced his candidacy so a 2007 Dollar coin is exceptionally appropriate.
• The coin is colorized privately, using a patented technology because the U.S. Mint does not have the capability to colorize coins.
• One coin struck in .770 copper, 120 zinc, .070 manganese, and .040 nickel.
• The mint mark is on the edge, along with the incuse lettering “In God We Trust,” “E Pluribus Unum,” and the year of issue.
• The coin comes in a protective capsule and black presentation case with a Certificate of Authenticity.
• The certificate features an authorized facsimile signature of Barack Obama.
