A set of the “old” coins from the three European Union nations that did not join the European Monetary Union and therefore did not adopt the Euro in 2002. Instead, the three nations – the United Kingdom, Sweden, and Denmark – continued to use their own unique currencies. They are expected to switch to the Euro soon, so these “old” coins are very desirable. They complete the collection of “old” coins from all 15 European Union nations.
