2023W SP70 Burnished Silver Eagle 1

Introduced in 1986, the popular and now-iconic American Eagle Silver Uncirculated Coins are collector versions of the official United States Mint American Eagle Silver Bullion Coins. These popular silver collectibles are struck at the U.S. Mint at West Point. The classic Walking Liberty design by Adolph A. Weinman featured on the coin’s obverse (heads) has long been a collector favorite. Thanks to technological advancements in the design and minting process, it now encompasses some of Weinman’s original details not included prior to 2021.

A completely new reverse (tails) design was also introduced in 2021. To give the new coins an added level of security, they have also been updated with enhanced security features, including a reeded edge variation.

The obverse features a refreshed depiction of Adolph A. Weinman’s full-length figure of Liberty in full stride, enveloped in folds of the flag, with her right hand extended and branches of laurel and oak in her left. The United States Mint returned to its original historical assets to render a closer reflection of Weinman’s original vision that includes the addition of his traditional artist mark. Inscriptions are “LIBERTY,” “IN GOD WE TRUST,” and “2023.”

The new reverse design features an eagle as it approaches a landing, carrying an oak branch, as if to add it to a nest. Inscriptions are "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA," "E PLURIBUS UNUM," "1 OZ. FINE SILVER," and "ONE DOLLAR."

Each coin bears the “W” mint mark reflecting its striking at the U.S. Mint at West Point.

We arranged for a shipment of coins to be graded and certified. The coins offered here were certified and graded as perfect SP70 condition - the highest quality possible for any coin.

The Silver Eagle Satin Finish coin is struck on a burnished coin blank. It is minted in one ounce of .9993 pure silver, so it is the largest, heaviest, and purest silver coin in U.S. history. The Satin Finish coin is struck at the West Point Mint and bears the "W" mint mark. The obverse features Adolph A. Weinman's famous "Walking Liberty" design that first appeared on U.S. Silver Half Dollars from 1916-1947. All coins are graded on a 70-point scale, with 70 being absolute perfection. It is virtually impossible to find a coin like this in perfect SP70 and it is literally impossible to find a better coin.
