2007 Washington Dollar MS67 ICG Graded 1

George Washington was one of the greatest Founding Fathers – commander of the Continental Army in the American Revolution, a driving force behind the Constitution, and the first President of the United States.

Through the years, Washington has been honored on official U.S. currency, most notably on the very first Presidential Dollar in 2007 and on the classic $1 Silver Certificate that has been out of issue for over 50 years.

The Washington Presidential Dollar was issued only in early 2007. It was a limited edition of only about 13 weeks, and it has been unavailable from the U.S. Mint in more than a decade.

The Presidential Dollars series was the first U.S. coin series to honor the Presidents, and the Washington coin was the first in the series because Washington was the first President. It is a landmark coin in U.S. history.

• Each coin also has unique edge lettering showing the year of issue, “In God We Trust,” and “E Pluribus Unum.”

• Most coins are released for circulation, but this coin has been certified as Brilliant Uncirculated MS-67 or better condition.

• Coins of this quality are impossible to find in circulation.

• This coin was hand-selected from an original bag of coins direct from the U.S. Mint.

• Coins are graded on a 70-point scale, and MS-60 is the standard Brilliant Uncirculated condition.

• This coin is at least seven full grades better than a standard Brilliant Uncirculated coin.

• The coin is encapsulated in a sonically-sealed holder to protect its condition and to guarantee its high MS-67 or better grade.

• The coin is struck in 77% copper, 12% zinc, 7% manganese, and 4% nickel.
