The U.S. capitol building can be seen at about the 7 o'clock position, and the design is surrounded by 50 stars to represent the 50 states.  The reverse side shows the new bald eagle design that was introduced in 2021. This design, known as the Eagle Portrait design, is the work of Jennie Norris. The design provides a very close view of a bald eagle's face and head.
