This collection features three classic U.S. coins that were issued by the U.S. Mint in the early 20th century. The coins are widely sought-after for their timeless designs and compelling stories. Each seldom-seen coin is a historic collector’s item, and together they make a collection that brings back memories of days gone by. All coins are over 70 years old, and the Barber Dime and Indian Head Penny are over 100 years old.

The Indian Head Penny, which was minted until 1909, depicts Liberty wearing a Native American headdress; it was the first small-size penny that was widely available.

The Buffalo Nickel (1913-1938) was a symbol of the “Wild West." The obverse is a composite portrait of three Native American chiefs, while the reverse features a stunning image of a buffalo.

The Barber Dime (1892-19165) was struck in 90% silver. It shows Liberty with a triple headdress of cap, laurel wreath, and a tiny coronet inscribed “Liberty.”

Most of these three coins were worn out or damaged in circulation generations ago, or have been melted for the precious silver, leaving few for today’s collectors.
