An original 2003 Maine State Quarter beautifully set into a custom pocket knife with a full-color image that reflects the coin design; it comes with a collector tin featuring the same design. The Maine State Quarter was issued for only a few weeks in 2003 as part of the original State Quarters series from the U.S. Mint. The coin depicts the Pemaquid Point Lighthouse, a 38-foot-tall stone lighthouse that was built on the Atlantic coast in 1835. Also shown is a schooner at sea.
Most coins were worn or damaged in circulation over a decade ago, but an original uncirculated coin is beautifully set into the handle of an elegant and practical pocket knife; the handle also features a full-color image to match the coin design: a dramatic view of Pemaquid Point Lighthouse.
The knife is sturdy, reliable, and useful, and it is made to the highest standards. Best of all, it comes in a special presentation tin with the same full-color image of Pemaquid Point Lighthouse on the top.
Knife Blade: 3" - Handle 4.25" - Tin: 5 1/4 x 3 x 5/8
