An original 2002 Tennessee State Quarter beautifully set into a custom pocket knife with a full-color image that reflects the coin design; it comes with a collector tin featuring the same design. The Tennessee State Quarter was issued for only a few weeks in 2002 as part of the original State Quarters series from the U.S. Mint. The coin depicts three musical instruments to reflect the different styles of music for which the state is legendary: a trumpet for the blues, and a fiddle for country, and a guitar for folk. Also shown is the inscription “Musical Heritage.”
Most coins were worn or damaged in circulation over a decade ago, but an original uncirculated coin is beautifully set into the handle of an elegant and practical pocket knife; the handle also features a full-color image to match the coin design: a dramatic view of the same three musical instruments.
The knife is sturdy, reliable, and useful, and it is made to the highest standards. Best of all, it comes in a special presentation tin with the same full-color image of the musical instruments on the top.
