Mount Rushmore 2006 South Dakota State Quarter Knife 1

The South Dakota State Quarter was issued for only a few weeks in 2006 as part of the original State Quarters series from the U.S. Mint. The coin depicts Mount Rushmore National Memorial in the Black Hills of South Dakota, which is one of the most famous and spectacular tributes to American history.  Known as the “Shrine of Democracy,” it features the 60-foot-tall heads of Presidents George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt, and Abraham Lincoln carved into the granite mountain face. Most coins were worn or damaged in circulation over a decade ago, but an original uncirculated coin is beautifully set into the handle of an elegant and practical pocket knife; the handle also features a full-color image of Mount Rushmore, creating a stunning tribute to America. The coin and image of Mount Rushmore are protected for many years of usage. The knife comes in a special presentation box with the same full-color image of Mount Rushmore on the cover. A sturdy, reliable, and useful knife for any occasion, it makes a great gift for any patriotic American.
